Research Project - Personalisation within the web!

I have been taking a look at some articles online to do with personalisation ready for my return to uni to get an idea on the topics I could be looking into with my research project next year.



The main focus within the articles I have looked at so far is the movement from web 2.0 into web 3.0 which is the movement into web personalisation.

Polyverse Poets #3

Ok so i took on the task of the polyverse festival website and my first official website ever! and turns out working with a real client isn't that bad after all, in fact its really enjoyable. Below are the design ideas I came up with to present to the client and recieve feedback on a final choice to go ahead with.

The client chose Design #3 but asked if it was possible to include the blue lips from Design #2 within the design somewhere. I decided that the best place to include these without interupting the design was in the right hand corner of the footer.

Polyverse Poets #1

The breif design a website to promote the polyverse poetry festival, a new festival for the east midlands, showing theres a more than meets the eye with poetry!



I created a short survey to get the general feel of the site and what it was the client wanted. resulting in the specifications, follow a similar design to that used within the existing ning site where poets can join. http://www.artisanslibrary.ning.com/. Colourscheme must include blues and silvers and the polyverse logo must be included.
